In 1999, inelectra received the "Project of the Year" award from the Project Management Institute (PMI) for application of innovative principles and management techniques in the ACOGAS Liquefied Petroleum Gas Extraction plant, executed in Venezuela for PDVSA.
inelectra has broad experience in engineering, procurement and construction projects for plants for non-associated gas production, compression, injection, processing and treatment.
- Gas separation and treatment
- CO2 and H2S sweetening
- Extraction of natural gas liquids for LPG production
- Gas compression and metering
- Systems for sale of natural gas for vehicles
The total cumulative capacity of the gas production facilities designed and built by inelectra is over 685 million standard cubic feet a day (SCFD), gas injection for wells over 1.490 billion SCFD and over 6.00 billion SCFD of processed and treated gas.
inelectra has received recognition for its achievements in the conceptualization, design, procurement and construction of fractionation plants for production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and extraction of natural gas liquids (NGL).
In 2004 the company registered an industrial property patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office for an innovative process for extracting ethane from non-commercial residual gases, based on turbo-expansion and fractionation.
